Hurd Realty started working with QuikTrip in 1989 when Richard developed a store for them in Ames, IA. Over the next several years, Hurd Realty developed, or purchased through sale-leaseback, many QT convenience stores. QuikTrip’s expansion into other markets helped diverse Hurd’s portfolio geographically. Richard and his team have completed transactions in Phoenix, Austin, San Antonio, Kansas City, Tulsa, Des Moines and St Louis.
